“Efia Odo Told She Doesn’t Set Beauty Standards”

According to Yaa Yeboah, Efia Odo was disrespectful when she called musician Sista Afia ugly in their recent social media argument, as Efia Odo herself is not the standard of beauty. “Some comments have been very disrespectful. Efia Odo may think she’s beautiful, but that doesn’t make her the standard of beauty. Just because you think you’re attractive doesn’t give you the right to call someone else ugly. Efia Odo is not the standard of beauty. We can’t say that only women who look like Efia Odo are beautiful, because beauty is subjective. There will always be someone who doesn’t find her attractive. The bullying and name-calling need to stop because no one is the ultimate judge of beauty,” she said on the Saturday, July 20, 2024, edition of United Showbiz on UTV, hosted by MzGee.

The latest clash between the two entertainment figures started when a Twitter user posted a bikini photo of Sista Afia, and a well-known influencer jokingly compared it to Efia Odo. Efia Odo, offended by the comparison, reacted angrily, which led Sista Afia to respond by calling her an “industry machine,” a term criticizing Efia Odo’s rumored connections with multiple male artists.

The feud continued with Sista Afia releasing a diss track titled “Industry Machine” aimed at Efia Odo.
