Veteran actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has firmly denied accusations of an affair with Nigeria’s Senate President. These claims surfaced via an anonymous blogger who included her among several women allegedly linked romantically to the politician.
Responding to the rumors, Dakore condemned them as a “wicked lie from the pit of hell” and stressed that her reputation should not be exploited for sensationalism.
She expressed her astonishment and distress, clarifying that she has never met the Senate President or been in any personal contact with him.
Dakore, who is married with two children, highlighted the potential harm these allegations could cause her family.
Furthermore, she has announced plans to take legal action against the blogger spreading these false claims. To challenge the accusations, Dakore has offered a reward of N5 million to anyone who can provide concrete evidence of her alleged relationship with the Senate President.
