Kofi Sam Atta Mills, the son of the late former President, led the John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills Peace Walk for Change in Cape Coast, Central Region, to honor his father on the 12th anniversary of his passing.
The event aimed to celebrate the legacy of former President Atta Mills, a leader known for his dedication to peace and unity. Despite early morning rain, the event saw an impressive turnout, with many participants braving the weather to join the walk.
The procession concluded at the Atta Mills Presidential Library, located across from Cape Coast Castle. Kofi Sam Atta Mills addressed the enthusiastic crowd, reflecting on his father’s lasting impact on promoting peace and fostering unity.
The walk also attracted several prominent members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including:
