Renowned Ghanaian musician and four-time Grammy nominee Rocky Dawuni has received the Millennium Excellence Award for his exceptional work in music and cultural diplomacy.
The award ceremony was held in Accra on Saturday, November 29, 2025, celebrating individuals who continue to elevate Africa on the world stage.
Rocky Dawuni expressed his profound gratitude, acknowledging the Asantehene, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, and Nana Agyeman Prempeh for bestowing this honour.
He noted that the award symbolizes a renewed commitment to championing African culture, unity, and global representation.
“I received a Millennium Excellence Award for my work in Music and Cultural Diplomacy… Thank you to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, Nana Agyeman Prempeh and everyone involved for conferring this amazing honor. We keep striving for African Excellence,” he shared.
