Angry Customers Raid 'Susu Company' After Manager Allegedly Flees to the US (videos)

Videos from Nungua in the Greater Accra Region show upset and disappointed customers at a ‘Susu’ company after the manager allegedly fled to the United States without paying their investments.

A blogging page on X, @OfficialBigkay, shared the footage and reported that the government shut down Dek-Nock Investment because it wasn’t licensed or legally registered. “Sources say the government shut down Dek-Nock Investment due to a lack of license and proper registration. The manager is missing, and his family suspects he might have gone to the USA. Some customers have lost up to 60,000 cedis. People went to the Nungua branch to get their money back but have not received any response,” @OfficialBigkay wrote.

The videos show heartbroken customers at Dek-Nock Investment’s office, trying to confirm the loss of their contributions. Many are seen crying and expressing their frustration, revealing how much money they invested.

This is not the first time Ghanaians have been scammed, losing millions in investments. Some cases are in court, with the government trying to get justice for the victims, but in other cases, there seems to be no hope.

As of now, it is unclear if the authorities are aware of this latest incident and what steps will be taken to help the victims.
