Asante Kotoko midfielder Joseph Ablorh’s wife has been confirmed dead, the club announced.
The cause of her sudden demise has not yet been disclosed.
“It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of the wife of our new player, Joseph Ablorh,” the club stated.
“Our hearts go out to Joseph and his family during this incredibly difficult time. We ask you to join us in offering your thoughts, prayers, and support to Joseph and his loved ones.”
Ablorh was recently unveiled as one of the new additions to Asante Kotoko ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season. The 26-year-old signed a two-year deal with the Porcupine Warriors, joining from Guinean team Hafia FC.
