In Saboba, a small town, there lived a young man who was selling a gun. He came across his friend or could be his relative who became interested. The prospective buyer inquired about the cost of the weapon and the young man quoted GHS 50. The buyer agreed on that price and asked him to bring it so they could make the transaction.
However, before coming back with the gun, this buyer secretly organized for his arrest by the police. After he had been apprehended by these officers, they brutally beat him up. So bad was this violence that it made him lose his consciousness thereby necessitating an immediate rush to hospital.
Consciousness brought him back to life and he found himself at the station again. In all this time, neither did police tell parents of their son’s plight. Upon discovering their son’s situation too late in time, his parents rushed to the police station pleading with them to release him as they feared for his worsening health condition. They requested that he be taken to a hospital for treatment then pledged to come back later on after everything would have settled down only to be ignored by policemen.
Distressed parents left crying all through their eyes at last walking out of that place. News broke shortly afterwards about how this young man had gone missing unnoticed from behind bars at a police station somewhere around here despite no information regarding whereabouts for four days yet.
