NDC to Kick Off National Campaign in Tamale Tomorrow

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will launch its national campaign tomorrow, Saturday, July 27, 2024, in Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region.

The event will be graced by key party figures, including Presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama. Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC’s National Communications Officer, stated that the launch will provide an opportunity to detail the party’s key policies and programs, with a focus on the 24-hour economy policy aimed at enhancing round-the-clock productivity and services in Ghana.

Preparations at Tamale Jubilee Park, the venue for the launch, are well underway. The park is decorated with party colors, and the city of Tamale is adorned with flags along major roads, reflecting the NDC’s strong presence.

This launch is the second major event organized by the NDC in Tamale this week. The party recently held a successful fundraising event in the city, with participation from the presidential candidate, national executives, business leaders, and parliamentarians, all contributing to support the party’s 2024 election campaign.

Additionally, early this morning, Tamale South MP Haruna Iddrisu led the NDC national campaign team to Yendi to pay a courtesy visit to the King of Dagbon, Yaa Naa Mahama Abukari II. This visit was intended to show respect and inform the king about the campaign launch occurring in his kingdom tomorrow.
